Life could be a dream, sweetheart
music
open heart ššš
yer a gazette
I’m a gazelle, you’re a gazette
I’m a trombone, you’re a clarinet
Iām on a pl(ain)ane
The finest day that I’ve ever had
Was when I learned to cry on command
Later in my twenties I felt like I understood this lyric. It reminds me of the day that the profound sadness that permeated everything on the surface was not what I was supposed to be feeling.
That didn’t make it less comfortable, though. You can hear about that in Frances Farmer two (?) records later.
Good Feeling
Good feeling
Won’t you stay with me just a little longer
It always seems like your leaving
When I need you here just a little longer
Dear lady there’s so many things
That I have come to fear
Little voice says I’m going crazy
To see all my worlds disappear
Vague sketch of a fantasy
Laughing at the sunrise
Like he’s been up all night
Ooh slippin’ and slidin’
What a good time but now
Have have to find a bed
That can take this wait
Good feeling
Won’t you say stay with me just a little longer
It always seems like your leaving
When I know the other one
Just a little too well
Oh dear lady
Won’t you stay with me just a little longer
Why does it always seems like your leaving
When I need you here just a little longer
Together Now
So help me understand
The little that I knowTogether now, together now
It’s us now, it’s us now
And she’d be standing next to me.
I Keep My Eyes Wide Open All the Time (almost all the time)
My man Phife Diggy; he got somethin’ to say.
Shorty let me tell you about my only vice
It has to do with lots of lovin’ (and it ain’t nothin’ nice.)
